Motivation
We couldn't find trainings on the German regulatory environment in English, for our international colleagues joining our teams. In addition, the existing training was very theoretical. It wasn't focused on practical application, or on how modern banks and fintechs actually work. So I built it.Für unsere internationalen KollegInnen, die zu uns ins Team kamen, gab es keine Trainings zum deutschen Regulierungsumfeld auf Englisch. Und die vorhandenen Trainings waren sehr theoretisch. Es ging nicht um die praktische Anwendung und auch nicht darum, wie moderne Banken und Fintechs wirklich arbeiten. Also habe ich genau das selbst aufgebaut.

University teaches the theory. Banking jobs are about the doing, and that shift is where a lot of graduates struggle. And unfortunately, with continuing education during our careers, most seminars revert to the purely theoretical again. I believe training should stay practical for immediate use, at every stage of a career. It should be both engaging and accurate, and draw on the real-life perspectives of all kinds of different types of banks for the broadest understanding and application.Die Uni vermittelt die Theorie. Im Banking-Job zählt das Tun, und genau bei diesem Umschalten tun sich viele AbsolventInnen schwer. Auch in der Weiterbildung später im Berufsleben rutschen die meisten Seminare leider wieder ins Theoretische. Ich bin überzeugt, dass Training praktisch und sofort anwendbar bleiben sollte, in jeder Phase der Karriere. Es sollte fesselnd und fachlich korrekt zugleich sein und aus den Praxis-Perspektiven ganz unterschiedlicher Banken schöpfen, für ein möglichst breites Verständnis und eine breite Anwendung.
